First on our List

So we always keep talking about how we want to try all these different bars. Then we always end up at the same ones (not that it's a bad thing- I personally love Pour House). But I wanted to start the list off here by saying that we all need to go to McGreevy's, on Boylston. It's a new bar that took over for the Foggy Goggle- thankfully, as that place was disgusting! Nicole and I went there for an early dinner over the weekend, and we sat at a high top right by the window that opened up onto the street. Great place for some people watching. I looked it up and Papelbon and the Dropkick Murphys are the owners of this sports bar. The inside looked very inviting and friendly, with dark wood and couches lining the back of the bar. There is also a downstairs, although Nicole said that it didn't look like much of a party area, but we'll just have to learn what it's all about by going there soon. It is a sports bar, but it is definitely nothing like the typical sports bar with neon lights flashing and big beer signs on the wall. Instead, there were old photos of various sports memorabilia, with a lot of baseball artifacts.
There were also a group of girls in matching t-shirts, obviously a part of a pub crawl. Nicole and I decided that we need to go on a pub crawl pronto! Maybe we can make matching tie-dye shirts.
